Following a series of recent acquisitions, Jensten has today announced further investment into its Lloyd’s broking division, Jensten London Markets, with three senior hires in Marie Thomas-White, Steve Murphy and Ally Templeton. The business launched last year, formed through the bringing together of well-known broking firms Senior Wright and Tasker & Partners.
Strategically placed as a ‘genuine partner in the London Market’, Jensten London Markets provides a wide range of producing and retail broking firms with access to Lloyd’s, and has a growing offering across property, liability, fleet, construction, security and engineering classes. The team has significant experience in binder management and arranges a number of bespoke delegated authority binders for its brokers.
Marie Thomas-White joins the business as Head of Liability Broking. She spent 14 years at Bannerman Rendell, before being appointed as Divisional Director of Liability at The Underwriting Exchange in 2013.
Steve Murphy takes up the role of Head of Property Broking. He has significant experience in London Market property placement, having held senior Lloyd’s broking roles at Gallaghers, Marsh and, most recently, Lonmar Global Risks.
Ally Templeton joins as Head of Motor Fleet Broking, following a period as Motor Director at Citynet. He was previously Associate Director at JLT Specialty, where he headed up the Wholesale Motor Team.
Marie and Steve have joined the business this week, while Ally will take up his role in December.
Jensten London Markets has also strengthened its core trading team, with new hires across its property, liability and motor class disciplines.
Simon Taylor, Wholesale MD commented: “Jensten London Markets continues to deliver for producing and retail brokers looking for quality London Market broking. As demand grows we continue to invest in the business’ capability. The appointments we have announced today demonstrate our commitment to deliver for our broker partners. Marie, Steve and Ally are well-known in the market for their experience and capability, and we’re delighted to welcome them to Jensten. These appointments are a critical part of laying the groundwork for the next phase of growth.”
