Jensten Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Kelvin Smith Insurance, subject to regulatory approval, marking another important milestone in the Group’s continued regional expansion strategy.
The deal represents a significant step forward for Jensten in Scotland, welcoming a highly experienced team of 30 colleagues, a well-established Glasgow office, and a loyal client base of more than 3,000.
Established in 1982, Kelvin Smith Insurance controls £22 million GWP and has built a strong reputation for expertise in commercial risks, fleet insurance and SME markets. The business also provides specialist personal lines solutions, including services for high-net-worth individuals.
Establishing Jensten’s Scotland Region
This acquisition further strengthens Jensten’s newly established Scotland region, which has been created through recent strategic investments including Broker One, NC Stirling, and now Kelvin Smith Insurance. Together, these businesses create a strong platform of local expertise, established client relationships and regional leadership, reinforcing Jensten’s long-term commitment to the Scottish market.
