Jensten Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Lewis, Managing Director Bespoke Wholesale, with specific responsibility for City Underwriters. He was previously Head of Commercial Branches at LV and joined City Underwriters in February 2020.
Jamie brings with him almost 30 years of insurance industry experience, working as both a broker and insurer where he has held senior roles within companies including Allianz, AXA and most recently as Head of Commercial Branches at LV.
As Managing Director, Jamie is responsible for the day-to-day running of City Underwriters. He will ensure that our ambitious plans are achieved and will use his passion for relationship management to build successful broker and capacity partnerships. Jamie’s long-standing market experience also gives him an insight into what brokers really want, and this ethos will prove invaluable.
Commenting on his appointment, Jamie said: “I’m really excited to be joining City Underwriters and being part of the Jensten family. With strong financial backing, there is a clear desire to grow the business both organically and through acquisition. The combined retail and wholesale capability of the wider group, through its Coversure and Policyfast businesses, makes this a really unique and compelling opportunity.”
